Thanks 😊

I know so many people who are genuinely interested in this concept. Not just young people, but gen-Xers, people who’ve had it and are ready to or are already living sustainably in their own pods. Two separate families are no-till farming, and another have built a straw-bale house and are raising their own food off-grid. Yet others do their own hunting, fishing, keep bees and are part of a community goat milk co-op. All of them are in Alaska and Canada — places I can’t or don’t want to live (grew up in Alaska, too dark!). I’m looking at Washington State, but, community is important and hard to build during a pandemic.

So these are my current obstacles. On the up-side, I’ve left the city and things are moving in the right direction. People are out there doing the things and forming the ideas. Keep going!
